Places you 300 ft ahead, mess in a city

Used to work reasonably well. About a year ago, it started placing my car about 300 ft ahead of where it is. As a result, useless in unfamiliar city driving -- lost my way innumerable times at intersections (it starts giving you directions as if you overshot the turn it told you to make while you didnt), drove me around in circles.

A serious problem at an unfamiliar place in rural PA: the app didnt know a bridge was closed (for 2 years already as I discovered online later) and insisted on bringing me back to it no matter how much I tried to get away from it to find another crossing. Was eventually "rescued" through stopping repeatedly and checking Google Maps.

Both failures ridiculous at that price.
